The Szent-Györgyi Prize for Progress in Cancer Research, sponsored by the National Foundation for Cancer Research located in Bethesda, MD, USA, is awarded annually to researchers who have made a seminal discovery that has resulted in, or led toward, high impacts and/or clinical benefits that can save people's lives.

The co-winners of the 7th Annual Szent-Györgyi Prize for Progress in Cancer Research, Dr. Zhen-Yi Wang and Dr. Zhu Chen, will be awarded on Tuesday, March 6th, 2012 at the 7th Annual Szent-Györgyi Prize Dinner & Award Ceremony at the Westin New York Times Square, in conjunction with the 23rd Cancer Progress Conference.
